Have a passion for teaching? Come join Edupola as a Private Tutor in Bali.
We invite dedicated, patient educators who love the learning process to become learning partners for students across the Island of the Gods. If you’re ready to commit your time, able to teach face-to-face at students’ homes or through hybrid sessions, and eager to grow within a warm educational community, you might be exactly who we’re looking for.
Edupola was built on the spirit of menyama braya and upholds the values of Tri Hita Karana: maintaining harmonious relationships with students and parents, committing to structured learning materials and methods, and practicing professional ethics that honor the teaching profession. We believe that effective learning comes not only from mastery of subject matter, but also from patience, perseverance, communication skills, organized planning, and sensitivity to local culture. This includes respecting the traditional calendar (Nyepi, Galungan–Kuningan, odalan in the banjar) and understanding the daily rhythms of families in Bali.
Becoming an Edupola Tutor
Being a tutor at Edupola means designing a truly personalized learning process. You will conduct light assessments at the start of sessions to map students’ strengths and weaknesses, then craft adaptive learning plans based on their learning styles—whether visual, auditory, or kinesthetic. Each meeting requires you to prepare relevant learning materials, provide feedback, and maintain clear communication with parents.
We encourage tidy and efficient teaching practices: selecting teaching areas close to your residence—such as Denpasar (Renon, Sanur), Badung (Kuta, Canggu, Nusa Dua), Gianyar (Ubud), or Tabanan—so that commuting remains comfortable during busy hours. You may choose to focus on school subjects, languages, arts, or applied skills; we curate class requests to match your expertise.
At Edupola, you grow together with the community. We provide access to lesson plan templates, question banks, micro-teaching coaching sessions, and cross-district tutor forums for sharing best practices. We seek tutors who are communicative, patient, and meticulous; who master their chosen teaching subjects; who can conduct simple assessments and prepare engaging teaching materials; who are organized in planning and reporting; and who respect local customs and banjar dynamics.
Final-year university students and graduates are welcome to apply. Having basic work tools—such as a device for WhatsApp coordination and material preparation via Google Docs/Slides—and sufficient mobility (motorcycle/online transport) will help ensure smooth and punctual teaching.
